Many people ask about the difference between coaching and counseling. Both counseling and coaching provide valuable support and a safe place to process. Both are professional, confidential, and focused on you! In simplest terms, counseling is about looking back and understanding the WHY, while coaching is about moving forward and exploring the HOW.As a coach, Amy partners with you to discover new tools and strategies rooted in Biblical principles. Coaching supports various needs, such as improving relationships, gaining parenting skills, strengthening a marriage, starting a business or ministry, and achieving work-life balance. It is also helpful in navigating the challenges of an unwanted divorce, life transitions, or health issues. Coaching is action-oriented and helps clarify values and intentions so you can walk in your purpose.

As a counselor, Amy offers a supportive place to process painful areas hindering your desired healthy life, providing healing and hope to move forward. Amy is equipped to meet with women, children, and adolescents struggling with grief, addiction, boundaries, parenting concerns, single-parenthood, and identity.

“After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”
